Both Caitlin and I are Doctorates of Physical Therapy. I am also an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and am Certified as a Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS).  I am also the Head of Physical Performance and e-Sports Medicine for Counter Logic Gaming (CLG)As a Physical Therapists and Movement Experts, there 5 main ways we can be of help to you with consultation services.

  1. Managing & Preventing Injuries to Prolong your Gaming Career: What’s bothering and preventing you or your players from playing at their potential now. The goal is always to get back to a point where you or they’re injury free and with pain out of the focus. Preventing your players from being both physically and mentally affected by any potential injuries. Gamers should not have to end their career in their late 20’s due to injuries or health issues. Gamers can prevent injuries with a specialized exercise program, posture/ergonomic assessment and proper nutrition.
  2. Staying fit for gaming and for life: General physical fitness can go a long way into maximizing the performance of gamers – Especially with coordination, speed and agility training for the hands. Specialized training programs can help gamers achieve their fitness and performance goals inside and outside of eSports.
  3. Health for the Mind: An area of competitive eSports I feel is often neglected – even in the sports community is the mindset and mental component of competition. From the moment you leave to travel to a competition to the second you press join server to play in the grand finals, there are a lot of things that can affect the focus of the gamers and prevent them from performing at their potential.
  4. Nutrition: Food provides fuel for our brains. It’s essential to have a proper balance and a specific nutrition program to not only maintain your health but also to make sure you have the fuel to maintain focus for those long gaming sessions.
